Fue lanzado en Japón en octubre de 1980 y en Norteamérica por Game Plan en octubre de 1981. Se ejecuta en el hardware Namco Galaxian, basado en el microprocesador Zilog Z80, con un microprocesador adicional para controlar un DAC para voz; Fue uno de los primeros juegos en tener síntesis de voz. En 1984 se lanzó una adaptación MSX en Japón.
